Pools For Pups

With every pool we build, we give back to support at-risk shelter dogs — funding rescue needs, medical care, and transport.

We built Texas Pocket Pools because we didn’t want an
above-ground eyesore — or a $60K project.

Texas Pocket Pools started with a simple problem: I wanted a stock tank pool, but put in the ground and designed to look and run like a real pool.

I didn’t want to give up the big grassy area my dogs need and love, didn’t want the eyesore of an above-ground pool or metal stock tank in my yard, and I definitely didn’t want to spend $60-$100K.

I wanted something just the right size to lounge and lightly swim in that looked beautiful and had a stone finish like the pool I grew up with at my childhood home…

I called every pool builder and contracting company I could find in DFW, and no one would do what I thought was a simple ask at the time: place a stock tank fully in the ground.

Refusing to take no for an answer, I was determined to find someone skilled enough and willing to help me figure out exactly what I wanted and how to make it work.

With my vision and his years of mechanical and construction experience, we teamed up to design a system most builders wouldn’t even attempt — and that’s how Texas Pocket Pools came to be.

Now, we offer the look and luxury of a true in-ground pool (at a fraction of the cost) for homeowners across Texas and beyond.

Thanks for supporting our big idea of a little pool!
